2022 National Drive Electric Week
Let the celebration begin! National Drive Electric Week is September 23 - October 2 and we’re thrilled to see hundreds of events happening across the nation dedicated to raising awareness for the cause we are so deeply passionate about.
With both in-person and online events this year, National Drive Electric Week has the capability of reaching an even wider audience across the country than years past. We are most excited about the incredible potential for collaboration between utilities, charging equipment manufacturers and municipalities to break through barriers and increase electric vehicle adoption rates exponentially.
Shortly before National Drive Electric Week, on September 10th & 11th, the world’s number one home energy and electric vehicle show, Fully Charged Live is making its North America stop at the San Diego Convention Center. April Bolduc, President and Founder of S Curve Strategies and Electric Vehicle Association Board Member will be attending this unique event alongside many other EV industry thought leaders. There will be over 40 live sessions as well as numerous S Curve Strategy partners and collaborators.
Transportation electrification growth via our work with utilities, cities and municipalities is a catalyst to economic development and we are feeling especially charged up about the exciting news this past week from CARB. The California Air Resources Board voted to mandate that by 2035 100% of vehicles sold in the state of California be plug-in hybrid electric, EV’s or hydrogen fuel cell. With this bold move, far ahead of federal standards we are sure to see others follow California’s lead and fast-track their city’s reduced emissions goals along with creating an infrastructure to support it.
